Kate Grandbois

Kate has been an SLP since 2007 and a BCBA since 2014. She has experience working in private practice, outpatient clinics, outpatient hospital settings, and consulting to private schools and legal teams. She specializes in augmentative alternative communication, autism and associated disorders, language development, and integrating AAC into the educational/vocational programming of persons with behavioral needs. Her private practice, Grandbois Therapy + Consulting, LLC, focuses on multidisciplinary treatment, collaboration, and mentorship. She has served as an advisory board member for the HP Hacking Autism Initiative, as adjunct faculty at Northeastern University, and is the former president and cofounder of The Speech and Language Network, Inc.

Amy Wonkka

Amy has worked as a speech language pathologist in the Northeast and Midwest. Prior to becoming an SLP she worked for several years as a 1:1 paraprofessional and home service provider for individuals with complex communication needs. She has experience in home-based, public school, nonpublic school, and outpatient environments. Amy’s clinical interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism and other related needs, typical language development, motor speech, phonology, data collection, collaboration, coaching, and communication partner training and support.

Tracey Callahan

Tracey has been a Speech Pathologist for over 10 years and has worked in public and private schools, early intervention, outpatient, inpatient hospital rehabilitation, and most recently private practice. She has experience with children and adults addressing swallowing, language, cognition, and speech. She has a lot of experience with feeding and swallowing and has presented on the topic locally, at the annual ASHA convention and also internationally. She has also served as an expert witness. Abby Cummings

Abby Cummings, M.S., CCC-SLP joins the Nerdcast squad as our Sponsorship and Community Outreach Coordinator. Abby is a clinician in a specialized school setting by day, and avid podcast and audiobook listener by night. Her favorite things include: being with friends and family, helping others, and breakfast food. Abby’s goal is to spread the word far and wide about this awesome and unique CEU platform for all of us busy SLPs. She hopes to make your subscriber experience as meaningful as possible. Erin Toohey

Erin is a 2023 graduate of the Speech-Language Pathology program at Worcester State University. Erin joined the Nerdcast team in 2021 and she has been nerding out with us ever since. Her current interests fall largely in the medical SLP arena. She will complete her clinical fellowship at an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Worcester, MA. Sarah Gregory

Sarah Gregory, M.S. CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Assistive Technology consultant in the Ithaca City School District in Upstate New York. She specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication in a public school setting with a focus on inclusion. Sarah presents on these topics at national and statewide conferences. She shares tech tips for AAC and teletherapy on her YouTube channel and you can find her on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram @SarahGregorySLP.

Paige Biglin

Paige's interest in speech and language took off after a year teaching English in French public schools. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist since 2009 with experience in outpatient clinic, home healthcare, and public school settings, Paige most enjoys developing a genuine connection with a client and family and tailoring evaluation and treatment to address their needs and affirm their strengths and interests. She loves to stuff her brain with knowledge via podcasts, books, travel, and meeting unique people and is thrilled to be part of this nerdy team.

Theresa Butynski

Theresa has been a speech language pathologist since 2011. She currently works in a public preschool and has worked in private practice and outpatient rehabilitation centers. Prior to becoming a SLP, Theresa spent a number of years as an administrator for the Lurie Center (formerly LADDERS). She has experience working with children of all ages and with a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language difficulties, social language deficits, and higher level language struggles. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling and cooking.
